The purpose of the Junior Board is to engage Coppell’s Junior and Senior emerging leaders in civic and business leadership by providing opportunities to learn, contribute, and prepare for future leadership roles in the Chamber and community.
Program Goals:
- Develops leadership and governance skills
- Provides exposure to Chamber and business operations, economic development and community initiatives
- Creates a pipeline of future Chamber and community leaders
- Fosters civic pride and community engagement.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly Junior Board Meetings
- Attend a minimum of 1 Chamber board meeting per quarter
- Volunteer at approved Chamber and/or City events
- Plan and complete various group projects and/or events
- Participate in professional development sessions
Members of the Junior Board serve a one year term with the option to reapply/extend.
