Leadership Coppell is Coppell’s future… by making people aware of what makes the community “tick.”
The Leadership Coppell program is designed to inspire, grow, and unite high quality leadership in our community. The primary objective achieved through Leadership Coppell is to identify and foster new and potential Coppell leaders through a dynamic, hands on, 10-month intensive program that instills the requisite knowledge and understanding of the many facets of community life and leadership.
Leadership Coppell is a commitment to self-development and community building. The program runs from September thru May and the application and selection process is highly competitive.
As a participant:
Expand your understanding of Coppell and Dallas County through exposure to community issues you may not otherwise be able to explore.
Exchange ideas with current experts, decision makers and community leaders on a broad range of topics.
Enhance leadership and management skills.
Develop close relationships and mutual concerns with other class members.
What is covered?
Leadership Coppell is covered in nine, one-day seminars and a one-day retreat. Those selected will discuss, explore and gain “hands on” experience in the areas of:

Arts & Culture
Leadership & Self Branding
2022-2023 Leadership Coppell Class
Leadership Coppell is seeking individuals with a sincere commitment, motivation and interest in serving the community. All applicants are pre-screened and approved by the Leadership Coppell Steering Committee.
Applications are sought and encouraged from all segments of the community, including business, professional services, government, education, civic organizations, the arts and labor.
Tuition is $975.00 per participant. At least $100 of the total must be paid by the applicant. The remainder maybe paid by the applicant, their employer or a community organization.
Tuition program costs, including meals, course materials, transportation, and Retreat are covered by a combination of tuition and corporate contributions.

Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Orientation retreat attendance is mandatory. Classes will be from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. If more than two sessions are missed, the participant will not graduate with the class. Tuition will not be refunded. Graduation is scheduled for May.
Since attendance at each session is expected, applicants must have the FULL support of their employer.
